Stone type: Fine-grained (to 0.3 mm), pale yellowish brown (5YR 6/2), protoquartzitic sandstone with iron oxide flecks. Clasts are sub-angular. Namurian sandstone consistent with the Ipstones Edge Sandstones and associated sandstones, Morridge Formation, Millstone Grit Group, Carboniferous (R.T.)
